ISA-Certified Arborist Spotlight

Harmony Bird is a passionate ISA-Certified Arborist who discovered her love for tree care after working in food and customer service. In Michigan, she connected with Charity Barnes, owner of Daisy Tree Care, who hired and mentored her. This opportunity sparked Harmony’s passion for the field. After a few months, she moved to Guardian Tree Experts for more consistent hours. There, she met Moses, the owner of Momentum, who played a key role in the company’s growth.

From her first day, she immersed herself in learning the latest tree care practices and earned her ISA Certification in 2026. She’s continually fascinated by the evolving science of arboriculture, especially the intricate ways trees grow and function. She enjoys the physical challenge of the work, staying active outdoors and embracing every kind of weather.

In 2023, Harmony won the Michigan State Tree Climbing Championship in the women’s division. This victory allowed her to compete in the 2024 International Tree Climbing Championship in Atlanta, Georgia. Outside of work, she enjoys hammocking, hiking, reading, and spending time with friends.

Harmony’s approach to tree care emphasizes respect for both the environment and the community. She believes healthy trees benefit not only the ecosystem but also the people who live around them. Her goal is to continue growing as an Arborist and ensuring the long-term health of the trees she cares for.
