Crew Member Spotlight

Ethan Jack is the newest member of the Momentum Tree Experts team. Born and raised in Durango, Colorado, Ethan’s love for climbing started early. He spent much of his childhood scaling trees, fences, and anything else he could get his hands on. Learning that he could turn this passion into a career was an exciting revelation. He’s thrilled to be doing tree work professionally.

Before joining Momentum Tree Experts, Ethan was known around town for his cheery personality at Thai Kitchen, where he worked for several years. After several conversations with the Momentum team about his interest in arboriculture, Ethan finally made the leap. The team couldn’t be happier to have him on board.

When he’s not climbing or working on trees in the winter, Ethan can usually be found enjoying the snow. An avid snowboarder, he looks forward to hitting the slopes whenever Durango gets its fresh snowfall. He’s also a dedicated animal lover and volunteers his free time playing with puppies at Parker’s Animal Rescue.

Ethan has a special fondness for Ponderosa Pines, a tree that holds a prominent place in the forests around Durango. His enthusiasm, combined with his natural climbing ability and commitment to tree health, makes him an excellent addition to the Momentum team.

Whether he’s learning the ropes —quite literally— of arboriculture, volunteering with animals, or sharing a laugh with colleagues, Ethan brings energy, dedication, and a love of the outdoors to everything he does. Momentum Tree Experts is proud to welcome him and excited to see the impact he’ll make helping the trees and community of Durango thrive.
