Sales ArboristThomas Palmer is an ISA-Certified Arborist, Certified Tree Risk Assessment Qualified, Certified Tree Safety Professional, and Competitive Tree Climber. As a Foreman and Lead Tree Climber at Momentum, Thomas uses his expertise to ensure the highest standards of tree care. Before joining the team, he worked as a Lead Tree Climber in Eugene, Oregon, and Denver, gaining extensive experience that helps him lead with confidence. His certifications and skills help move Durango’s tree care industry forward in a safe and professional direction.
Thomas is passionate about teaching clients and sharing his knowledge. He enjoys creating features that help people interact with trees and nature. Recently, Thomas competed in the International Tree Climbing Championship in Denver, showcasing his skills and dedication. With formal training in plant health care, and insect and disease management, Thomas continues his education through the Rocky Mountain Chapter ISA and CEUs for his certifications.
In addition to his work at Momentum, Thomas founded Seed and Saw. This Southwest Colorado-based business focuses on urban wood sustainability, custom milling, and tree planting. Seed and Saw transforms locally salvaged urban lumber into beautiful, functional wood products. It gives trees a second life beyond their natural cycle. The company is committed to sustainability. They actively plant trees to restore landscapes and ensure a greener future for local communities.
