David Beckley began his tree care journey in 2013 and quickly fell in love with the work. What started as a job soon grew into a lifelong passion. Over the years, he’s worked in Arizona, North Carolina, and Colorado—each place offering new species, environments, and techniques to learn from. This wide range of experience shaped David’s adaptable, well-rounded approach to tree care.

What David loves most is that no two days are the same. Every tree presents a new challenge and a new opportunity to grow. One day might involve restoring an old orchard, the next a technical removal. The work is dynamic and rewarding, with results that are immediately visible to both climber and client.

At Momentum Tree Experts, David is proud to be part of a passionate, highly skilled team. Their shared drive for excellence motivates him to sharpen his skills and stay current with the latest tools, techniques, and safety practices.

Outside of work, David’s love for the outdoors runs deep. He’s been rock climbing since 1996, which eventually led him to the canopy. He’s also an avid trail runner and takes on self-supported endurance challenges of up to 100 miles. In 2016, he discovered paragliding and hasn’t looked back. These pursuits fuel his connection to nature and keep him grounded.

David views trees as sacred, living pillars of healthy ecosystems and communities. He believes in caring for them with respect, intention, and the highest standards. At Momentum, he’s grateful to work alongside a team that shares that same commitment.
