Julia Streed has always wanted her work to contribute something real to the planet. That’s what drew her to the tree care industry, where “making someone’s outdoor space look good” is only the beginning. Julia sees arborism as the practice of nurturing and understanding trees, and supporting an integral part of a healthy ecosystem and climate. She’s excited to be part of a collective that treats tree care as environmental stewardship.

Julia’s bond with the natural world started early. A fun fact she loves to share: she’s been raising chickens since kindergarten. Her childhood in Vermont also left her with a lifelong affection for the Sugar Maple, which remains her favorite tree.

When she’s off the clock, Julia is usually outside. She spends her free time gardening, building, hiking, rock climbing, skiing, and she loves sharing those adventures with her son, husband, and dog.

At Momentum Tree Experts, Julia combines her love of the outdoors with a strong sense of purpose. Her natural educator’s instinct, strong communication skills, and enthusiasm for trees make her a real asset to our admin team, helping clients understand the long‑term connection between their trees, their property, and the broader environment.
